Narrated by Haritha bin Wahab who said that I heard the Prophet (alayhisalaam) saying, "O people! Give in charity as a time will come upon you when a person will wander about with his object of charity and will not find anybody to accept it, and one (who will be requested to take it) will say, "If you had brought it yesterday, I would have taken it, but today I am not in need of it."
Without a safe place to live, widows and their children are exposed to exploitation, unsafe living conditions, and extreme poverty. Our Widow Home project aims to provide secure, dignified housing for widows who have nowhere else to turn. These homes are built to offer safety, stability, and a foundation from which families can rebuild their lives.
By contributing to this appeal, you help give widows and their children a permanent place to call home. A safe home restores hope, protects vulnerable families, and creates an opportunity for long-term independence and healing. Beyond physical shelter, a widow’s home provides emotional security and peace of mind. Having a stable place to live allows families to regain a sense of normality, helping children feel safe and supported as they grow and learn.
This project is designed to create lasting change by offering widows the dignity of self-reliance. With a secure home, widows are better able to pursue education, small businesses, or employment, laying the groundwork for a sustainable and hopeful future.
